After photographing a marsh at the side of the Humber River, I sent the drone to maximum altitude, 400 feet, and spotted these unexpected “clocks” not far away.

Turns out they’re settling tanks for sewage which will be purified, we hope, then dumped into the river, and finally Lake Ontario. That trip doesn’t take long, and in the meantime those environmental clocks are counting down to doomsday.
